The objective of the ASSIGN trial was to assess the effects of an amino acid-based formula (AAF) with a synbiotic blend on levels of bifidobacteria and the E.rectale/C.coccoides group in feces of infants with cow’s milk allergy. The study met the primary microbiota outcomes and describes the additional 8 weeks data.
